SUBSURFACES, l'exposition
Subsurfaces nous conduit aux confins de l’imaginaire souterrain, aux limites de l’habitable, du corps, du visible et de l’accessible. Le souterrain est un espace labyrinthique, secret, empreint de mystère, c’est également un espace où la vie se forme et se décompose, où le corps et l’espace dévoilent leurs profondeurs. Sous l’asphalte, l’homme s’enracinent dans un réseau de tunnels, de catacombes, d’artères et de canalisations diverses, les entrailles terrestres se mêlent au système humain.
Surbsurfaces s’ouvre à différents champs, comme la science, la géologie, l’architecture ou la psychologie et mènera une réflexion sur le dévoilement ce qui est sous-jacent. Au seuil de ces mondes, différents sujets seront abordés, la relation ou la fusion entre l’homme et la nature, la dichotomie entre l’anatomie et l’âme, la corrélation entre le subconscient et le lieu. L’être vivant sera connecté harmonieusement avec la science et le digital pour explorer ces univers tellurique et transcendants. Il est temps de se tourner à nouveau vers l’essence mystérieuse de l’invisible, de nos artefacts oubliés, de nos racines végétales et de se pencher vers une connexion estompée de nos considérations cognitives logiques. Ravivons-la et parcourons les méandres de ces chemins enfouis.
COSMIC vous invite dans ces imaginaires souterrains à travers le regard et la pratique de différents artistes, qui s’attacheront à créer un dialogue entre ces phénomènes absolus naturels pour une immersion sensoriel et visuelle dans un espace géologique et humain.
Subsurfaces is conducting us to the borders to the underground imaginary, to the limits de of the habitacle, of the body, of the visible and of the reachable. The underground is a labyrinthine space, secret, printed with mystery, it’s also a space where the life is taking form and rot itself, where the body and the space disclose their depths. Under the asphalt, the man is taking roots into a underground network, of catacombs, of arteries and several pipes, the terrestrial bowels mingle to the human system.
Subsurfaces is an opening to different fields, such as science, geology, architecture or psychology and will lead to a reflexion on the unveiling what is underlying. At the threshold of those worlds, several subject will be covered, the reaction or the fusion between nature and man, the dichotomy between the anatomy and the soul, the correlation between the subconscious and the space. The living being will be connected harmoniously with the science and the digital to explore those telluric and transcendental universes. It’s time to turn itself again towards the mysterious essence of the invisible, of our forgotten artefacts, of our vegetal roots and to bend over to a blurred connection of our cognitive logical considerations. Let’s make it vivid again and browse the meanderings of those landfilled paths.
COSMIC invites you into these imaginary undergrounds through the look and the practice of different artists, who will get attached to create a dialogue between those natural absolute phenomenon for a sensorial and visual immersion in a geological and human space.
